Very often, the Alavi Shabaab (youth) succeed in their academics or career with the flying colors. Owing to lack of any common medium, their achievements and accolades are not highlighted in our Jamaa’at so that they get encouragement and simultaneously they could set an example for others. But with the grace of Allaah, since last 5 years we have launched our website which has served a medium of communication for all of us in India and Abroad. By the farmaan of Saiyedna saheb (tus), we want to highlight the academic and professional qualifications as well as some special outstanding performance of our mumineen here and in the monthly “Al-Haadi” Newsletter under this banner of “Our Shining Stars”. Our best wishes and Du’a of success for our stars and their achievement would sure make us feel proud.

Entries of the students who excel in their school or college exams will also be accepted in this option. Insha-allaah with the co-operation and feedback of the mumineen, our efforts in this direction will see the light of the day. We request to the mumineen to post their entries with the following requirements as early as possible, either by sending e-mail or personally submitting the details.

Each posted entry or the details will be scrutinized by our team whose decision of publishing the details of a candidate will be regarded as final.

Sister Tarannum Akhtar Ali Barodawala studying in Dr. D.Y. Patil University (Navi Mumbai) has secured 6th Rank in the university by getting 70.5% marks in the final examination of BAMS (Ayurveda) held in November 2009. She has also topped in Pediatrics subject.

Sister Faizneen Ali Asghar Motiwala studying in Faculty of Law (MSU, Baroda) has secured 1st Rank in her entire batch by getting 61.5% (first class) marks in the final examination of IV Semester held in April 2010.

Sister Zarin Sibtainbhai Rangwala studying in St. Agnes High School (Mumbai) has secured 1st Rank in her School in SSC (Maharashtra Board) by getting 97.45% marks. She is supposed to be in the first 5 toppers in the entire Maharashtra. She has represented the Under 16 National Basketball Tournament for Maharashtra Team which was played in Tamilnadu from 1st-8th June 2010.

Sister Nasheetah Taiyebi Nadiadi studying in Ambe Vidyalaya (Vadodara) has secured 80% marks in Std. 3. She has also the distinction of participating in State level Drawing Competition "Paint your Thoughts" organized by Gujarat Ecology Commission in March-2010. She has achieved the certificate of Beautiful Calligraphy in Rashtra-bhasha Sulekhan competition held in October 2009.

Brother Hasnain Sibtainbhai Rangwala studying in MMS (Master of Management studies) in University of Mumbai has secured 1st Rank in the entire batch by getting 75% in the Exams of III Semester taken in November 2009.

Brother Ayaanali Ahmadali Chashmawala studying in class-I-D in Navrachana Vidyani Vidyalaya (Vadodara) has achieved the General Proficiency certificate for his Commendable progress in Academics. He has also secured 4th Rank at National Level and 1st Rank at State Level in Interactive Olympiads 2009 held by Edu Heal Foundation.

Sister Fatema Shamsuddin Kagdi studying in SSC (CBSE) in Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan (Nadiad) has secured 7th Rank in School by securing 90% marks.

Sister Sharmeen Taiyebali Vasanwala has passed the final exams of Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics) held by MSU, Baroda in April 2009 with Distinction and stood 1st in her batch. She has also appeared in CAT 2008 and secured 97%. She has been awarded 4 gold medals for her outstanding academic performance.

Sister Alfiyah Ali Akbar Kagdi residing at Nadiad has won the "Best Mother" award in the Parents' Day Program organized by Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan School where her child is studying in 3rd Std. She proudly introduced herself as a Alavi Taiyebi Bohra and talked about our parental ethics and moral values.

Sister Zainabiyah (Zenobia) Naeem Motiwala of Zenith School has won the Champion Prize in the Intermediate A (fourth) level at the 2nd All Gujarat UCMAS Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Course Instructor's competition held on 7th Oct 2009.

Sister Kauseen Imtiyaaz Husain Motiwala has passed the Bachelor of Architecture Examination held in June 2009 by Gujarat University, and secured First Class with distinction. She has topped her batch and will be awarded with Gold Medal on the Annual Convocation. Her final year project design will get published in IIID magazine in the coming issue.

Brother Hunedali Shabbirhusain Chasmawala has passed the Bachelor of Clinical Optometry Examination held this year by Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune and secured First Class with distinction. At present he has appeared for CAT 2008 exams and got 93.1% and is doing MBA at Fore School of Management, New Delhi.

Brother Hasnain Naseeruddin Bhaisaheb studying in the Faculty of Tech. & Engg., MSU, Baroda has passed the final exams of M. Sc. (Applied Chemistry) held in April 2009. He secured 1st rank in his batch by getting 70.15% and has been awarded Gold Medal for his meritorious performance.

Sister Aneesah Mohammadali Bookbinder has passed Bachelor of Education (B Ed) exams held in April 2009 from Navrachana College of Education affiliated to SNDT Women's University, Mumbai. She stood 2nd in her class of 100 students by securing 78.50% (first class with distinction).
