Despite being the area marred with the heavy downpour, Aqaa Maulaa Saiyedna saheb TUS did niyat e kaamilah to visit the Rawzah mubaarakah of 35th Da'i e Mutlaq Muqaddas Maulaa Saiyedna Noorbhai Nuruddin bin Saiyedi Shaikhali saheb AQ on 19th Moharram with selected Hudood.  Though the urs was nearly cancelled, Aqaa Maulaa TUS insisted that, Maulaa Nuruddin saheb is giving me izn o da'wat to come for ziyaarat in any circumstances.    Hence, the news that Aqaa Maulaa TUS has urgently gone for Ziyaarat spread like a wild fire.  In a short period of 4 hours, nearly 200 mumineen reached Surat by any means available and they offered Maghrib-'Ishaa imaamat namaaz in Haatemi Masjid along with Saiyedna saheb TUS.

Aqaa Maulaa TUS headed majlis e shab e Urs of chosen mumineen and said that, "O Mumineen!  The radiance of the Noor of Muqaddas Maulaa is evidently shining on all of your faces.  It's not that you yourselves came for the Urs but Maulaa have brought you by his ta'eed.  Maulaa's Noor creates a magnetic force that always attracts pure-hearted noble mumineen whose soul and mind are treasured with this Noor.  I will keep this Noor illuminated in your hearts.  This mubaarak place is the precious wiraasat of our Maulaa.  By the razaa of my Maulaa and in my presence when mumineen gather in Rawzah Shareefah on the day of Urs, many take wasilah, nazar, mannat for Rozi, makaan and awlaad and do wholeheartedly Du'aa for the progress of our community."

Mo'jezah:

Aqaa Maulaa TUS recounted an e'jaaz of Muqaddas Maulaa AQ few years ago when a muminah came to Surat for Maulaa's ziyaarat afflicted with big boils mainly in that part of the body which could not be revealed.  Its pain has become unbearable.  She was helpless and medicines adversely affected her.  At last one night she heard a call near the Qabr e Nooraani.  She went inside Rawzah Shareefah with heavy heart and ummeed e shifaa.  She slept on a side near the Ra's of the Qabr and wept profusely.  In an sub-conscious state for a while she felt that a Nooraani saheb came near her and kept his right hand on her forehead and assured that she will get shifaa soon.  She woke up and found that few roses were scattered near her and Rawzah was filled with a unique fragrance.  Due to boils she could not stand so she came out from the Rawzah on her knees and slept on the bench nearby. 

In the morning she saw that the pus had started oozing out from the boils and the pain had slowly disappeared.  Now she could stand and the boils had gradually became passive.  Without any medicine or incision, by the barakaat of Muqaddas Maulaa's ziyaarat and wasilah, muminah got shifaa in few days.  The boils had pained her for weeks together.  Aqaa Maulaa TUS said that, "With the Tawakkul on Allaah Ta'aala and Yaqeen on Muqaddas Maulaa, mumineen can achieve victory and overcome the biggest challenge or face the ugliest situation.  Duniyaa is Daar ul Balaa, the place of affliction."

After our migration from Ahmedabad to Vadodara in 1110 AH, another city that was bustling with Deeni activities under the leadership and guidance of Da'i e Mutlaq was Surat.  The father of 35th Da'i e Mutlaq Saiyedna Noorbhai Nuruddin AQ, Saiyedi Shaikhali saheb RA was from among the Hudood e Kiraam of 31st Da'i e Mutlaq Saiyedna Hasan Badruddin saheb AQ.  He, along with the Fozalaa and learned ashaab of Surat carried out Da'wat umoor of Mumineen.  He carved his son with Da'wat knowledge and wisdom, trained him with the finest virtues of loyalty, morality, sincerity, nobility and piety.  Many times he along with his son came to Vadodara to exchange akhbaar with 32nd and 33rd Da'i.  

Saiyedna saheb's AQ historic event with 34th Da'i e Mutlaq Saiyedna Jalaal Shehaabuddin saheb AQ is often quoted in the Bayaanaat of Aqaa Maulaa Saiyedna saheb TUS.  Saiyedna saheb AQ resided in Noorpura Mohalla and on its corner was majestic Nooraani masjid where Maulaa carried out all Mazhabi Umoor.  The place where Saiyedna saheb's AQ Rawzah Nooraaniyah stands was once upon a time a big graveyard of our Mumineen along with farmland and scattered dwellings of our Mumineen.  Saiyedna saheb AQ imparted knowledge to his son Saiyedi Shaikh Aadam RA and made him capable of handling all Da'wat Umoor.  Saiyedi Shaikh Aadam RA became a renowned poet of his time who composed Qasaa'id in the Arabic language.

On the occasion of 267th Urs Mubaarak, Aqaa Maulaa Saiyedna saheb TUS said that, "Da'wat ul Haqq is the source of Nooraaniyat.  We got this Ne'mat because of Panjatan e Paak AS.  Imaam uz Zamaan AS and Da'i uz Zamaan TUS are part of this Noor.  Being Mu'min our every action is beautified with this Noor.  As name suggests, Saiyedna saheb AQ is the Maalik of 2 Noor.  One is for Duniyaa and the other is for Aakherat.  The magnetic Noor of Maulaa's Rawzah Mubaarakah attracts those knows the Nooraaniyat of Da'wat ul Haqq.  Aayat un Noor of Qur'an reminds us that Noor has a source but not Darkness.  When Noor-Light prevails, Darkness diminishes.  The Saheb e Noor is M. Aadam Safiyullaah AS till the last Imaam, Maulaana Qaa'im of the Last Day-Qeyaamat."

"Noor" is power word that comes to our mind during the Urs Mubaarak of our 35th Da'i ul-Mutlaq Saiyedna Noorbhai Nuruddin bin Saiyedi Shaikhali saheb AQ.  19-20th Moharram is marked with the special majlis of Muqaddas Maulaa in Surat.  Maulaa's Rawzah Mubaarakah is echoed with the recitation of Abyaat, Faatehah-khwaani, Wasilah and Ma'tam e Husaini.  

Ma'zoon ud Da'wat Saiyedi saheb DM said in his bayaan e mufeed that, "Our Maulaa is the Saheb of Two Noor, one is for Duniyaa and the other is for Aakherat.  It is because of this Noor that Maulaa is for us, Ne'mul Maulaa and Ne'mul Naseer, the best of Maulaa and the best of Assistant in hardships.  He became the Da'i in the tasbeeh of Du'aat e Mutlaqeen AQ, due to his loyalty and khidmat of 34th Da'i ul-Mutlaq Saiyedna Jalaal Shehaabuddin AQ.  When Surat mumineen started believing him as their Da'i, Maulaa revealed the reality and he took all mumineen to Vadodara and entered all of them into the fold of Bay'at of their Maulaa Saiyedna Jalaal saheb.  Thereby, warding off misunderstanding among the Surat mumineen."

Large number of mumineen assembled during this miqaat and remembered Maulaa's hayaat e taiyebah, his 'ilmi khidmaat and community upbringing.  Anjuman e Fayz e Alavi made various sherbats in the khidmat of Zaa'ereen.  Mulla sahebs of Mumbai Jamaa'at took Razaa for the ta'meer of Maulaa's Rawzah Mubaarakah.  Mukaasir Maulaa DM composed qaseedah muneerah, "Jab Aqeedat jawaan hoti hai, Har Ziyaarat ki Jaan hoti hai, Chumta hu Tumhaari Turbat ko, woh Zameen Aasmaan hoti hai."  On the day of Urs Mubaarak Maulaa remained present in Rawzah Nooraaniyah at 10 am when mumineen took nazr-o-minnat of their various zaahiri-baatini haajaat.  Maulaa explained them the importance of wasilah and the Mushkil-kushaai of Muqaddas Maulaa.  All those present did tawaaf-e-tashakkur of the Qabr-e-Anwar and recited Surah Yaa-Seen.

Mumineen always do Intizaar of the Urs Mubaarak of 35th Da'i e Mutlaq Saiyedna Noorbhai Nuruddin bin Saiyedi Shaikhali bin Hasankhan saheb AQ in Surat.  Mumineen never waste the opportunity to visit the Rawzah Shareefah of Maulaa Nuruddin saheb.  This year as the rules were eased for Covid-19, around 350 mumineen took part in the mubaarak mawqa' of Urs Mubaarak.  Aqaa Maulaa Saiyedna saheb TUS along with Hudood and the members of Anjuman e Hizb ul Imaan, on Friday went to Bharuch at the residence of Ronaqali Samlayawala, offered Zohr-'Asr namaaz followed by pur-khuloos ziyaafat.

After offering Maghrib-'Ishaa il Aakherat namaaz in Masjid e Haatemi, Surat, Aqaa Maulaa headed the Shab e Urs majlis.  Zaakereen recited Qasaa'id when “Aur Ziyaadah" kalaam composed by Mukaasir Maulaa became instant hit.  Aqaa Maulaa addressed the gathering and did naseehat of Abu Zarr al-Ghaffaari RA.  Maulaa said that, “Its not you who have come here by your own will, but Maulaa Nuruddin saheb wants you to enter into the Rahmat of Allaah Ta'aala.  This is the place of Nooraani people.  We have to become Noor and by doing Ziyaarat of our Maulaa we are entering into that Noor peacefully.  Our stay would be permanent.  Worldly Aafat will become Raahat of Aakherat if we remain loyal and trusted to our Maulaa.  This we can achieve by keeping fear of Allaah Ta'aala in our hearts.”

On the Urs Mubaarak day, after doing Ziyaarat of our Maulaa Nuruddin saheb, Aqaa Maulaa gave sharaf to mumineen of his Qadam-bosi.  Mumineen offered taslimaat of Moharram ul Haraam as wa'az mubaarak was YouTubed due to Corona pandemic.  On 10 am Ma'zoon Maulaa took mumineen in Rawzah Mubaarakah for taking minnat-nazar of Muqaddas Maulaa.  On 21st Moharram around 300 muminaat in 5 buses went to Surat for Ziyaarat e Nooraaniyah.  Maa Saahebah Umm ul Mumineen headed the majlis and she recited Qaseedah in the Shaan of our Nooraani Maulaa.  This tour was organized by Anjuman e Hizb e Mu'ayyedi.

Aqaa Maulaa presided over the Majlis of Behram and ‘Urs Mubaarak of Muqaddas Maulaa.  Bringing back the minutest details and events of Muqaddas Maulaa that happened before 3 centuries in the minds of the mumineen was the most vital information for the new generation.  Being a child how Muqaddas Maulaa got ta’leem-e-tarbiyat under the saaya-e-shafqat and patronage of 33rd Da'i Saiyedna Mo’ayyaduddin saheb and then due to his sincerity, loyalty and nobility he got to be elevated on the darajah of Da'i e Mutlaq by 34th Da'i Saiyedna Shehaabuddin saheb in 1158 AH.  Today the place near Rawzah Mubaarakah that we see is only the 1/3 of the Aywaan-spacious courtyard that was there during the time of Muqaddas Maulaa.  By the tadbeer of Du’aat we have got this holy place where many of our mumineen are buried and due to the Fayz of Muqaddas Maulaa the wishes of many generations have been fulfilled and accomplished.

Aqaa Maulaa granted Sharaf and Razaa to Rangwala, Ahmedabadwala and Sankhedawla families for It’aam ut-Ta’aam during Behram and to some of the fayyaaz mumineen of Mumbai for ‘Urs-Fajr Naashta and to Hizb ul Imaan committee for ‘Urs-Lunch.  Husaini Sharbat committee of Mumbai arranged and offered different sharbats in the khidmat of Zaa’ereen.

Huzoor-e-'Aali Saiyedna saheb (tus) said that, Saiyedna Haatim saheb (aq) quotes an interesting account of a goat in the form of parable, in which Saiyedna describes the pity condition of a goat when she goes astray deprived of her own group and shepherd.  She loses her life at the hand of a predator in spite of a temporary refuge in some other group.  Saiyedna says that, “O Mumineen! Never go away from your Da’i and never ever do a mistake to leave your group-jamaa’at as you will gravely lose your identity.  You will surely let your faith be killed miserably by our enemies.  We as a jamaa’at are your guardian, groomer and protector.”

Mukaasir Maulaa Saiyedi Mohammad Nooruddin saheb (dm) presided the 258th ‘Urs Mubaarak of Saiyedna Nooruddin saheb (aq), Surat on 19-20 Moharram ul-Haraam.  Like every year mumineen attended the ‘Urs with ikhlaas and ‘aqeedat-mandi and offered Chadar-Ghilaaf on the Qabr-e-Anwar of Muqaddas Maulaa on the hands of Mukaasir Maulaa.  Hudood recited the bayt “Che Du’aato no Fazal Mashhoor kul Insaan ma” in the shaan of Maulaa in the Rawzah Mubaarakah.  On the day of ‘Urs at 9:00 am, in the presence of Mukaasir Maulaa many mumineen took minnat-nazr for various haajaat and did du’aa taking the waseelah of Muqaddas Maulaa.  Arrangement of Salawaat jaman was done by different Sakhi mumineen under the management of Hizb ul-Imaan Masjid Sabeel Committee and Sherbat of different flavours was served by Anjuman-e-Nooraani, Mumbai.

In his bayaan during the Shab-e-‘Urs Majlis Mukaasir saheb narrated the whole waaqe’ah of Muqaddas Maulaa when he along with mumineen of Surat came to Vadodara in the Hazrat of 34th Da’i ul-Mutlaq Saiyedna Shehaabuddin saheb (aq) and how mumineen did his ma’refat and gave him misaaq.  Mukaasir Maulaa compared the wafaa-daari of Muqaddas Maulaa with that of Maulaana ‘Abbaas ‘Alambardaar (as) in Karbalaa.  He also explained the haqeeqat of Noor, Rooh and Sajadah.  Allaah Ta’aala is very much near to him who does du’aa in sajadah and he is in the highest state of humility.  Likewise the humble, noble and sincere attitude of a mumin comes out when he does Sajadat un-Noor near the Qabr of Muqaddas Maulaa and he feels the utter closeness with his Maulaa as if he is doing Qadam-bosi and taking barakaat from his Maulaa in front of his eyes personally.  He stated in an elegant tone that, Our Da’wat is Ruhaani and Nooraani Da’wat as Allaah Ta’aala has graced us with Rooh and Noor through True and Pure Nass and today we can witness it in our 44th Da’i ul-Mutlaq Saiyedna Taiyeb Ziyauddin saheb (tus).

Saiyedna saheb (tus) in his nooraani speech said that, “With the mo’jeznumaai, benevolence and grace of the da’i of Allaah Maulaa Nooruddin saheb, the event of this Urs Mubaarak in Surat has taken the shape of Alavi Festival where all the mumineen residing in nook and corner of Gujarat state comes here to participate in this auspicious memorable occasion and take the opportunity to meet every near and dear ones and take the chance to get barakaat and fuyoozaat from the Ziyaarat Taaherah of Muqaddas  Maulaa Nooruddin saheb (aq) which comes once in a year.”

“Young, energetic, well-educated, skillful youth of the community should take the golden chance of this Urs Mubaarak and arrange some youth functions and welfare activities in future to commemorate the khidmat, works and life of our Maulaa who led our people on the path of trust and harmony when there was a atmosphere of discord and disagreement among the people.”

“All the mumineen who came here to pay a tribute to our Maulaa by putting some flowers on his turbat or reciting faateha and salawaat should remember the reality that, what our Maulaa preached, he practiced.  He never bothered what others are doing but always emphasized on what he has to do for mumineen.  He was just, clear and confident in all his actions meant for the guidance of the community.  So taking sabaq from our Maulaa, mumineen should not see, question or demand what community did for him, but on the contrary he should question himself what he did for the community.”

“Everyone in this world is engulfed by his personal or family obligations.  Even this is true for animals which lives a life for itself.  But a true mumin is he who apart from his personal engagements he is equally bothered of his brothers, relatives and friends.  Death makes an end to the one who was self-centered.  But who lived here selflessly is always remembered whether he is present or not.  The life which is hard to live is best rewarded in the life which is full of ease i.e. Aakherat.”

Sabeel Committee members who are very active in maintaining the decorum of the masaajid were enthused when Saiyedna saheb (tus) marked their khidmat with distinction by giving their committee a new recognition with the name of “Hizb ul-Imaan”.  These members worked hard for all the arrangements required for the Urs Mubaarak. Every year “Husaini Committee” of Mumbai does a remarkable khidmat of providing mumineen with variety of sherbats.  The dinner of Shab-e-Urs was arranged by Safiyuddinbhai A Dholkawala and the breakfast was done by Shabbir Husain R Chashmawala.

• “as-Sakhiyo habeebullaah” means the benevolent is the friend of Allaah.  Everyone possesses the wealth and money, but Allaah loves those who generously distribute the monetary dues and rights to his near and dear ones.  He always thinks that what he has is not completely his but there is a share for others and he will have to give an account to Allaah of what he did with his wealth.
  
  
• Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) said that, if every mumin realizes his responsibility and carries his duty in the khidmat of jamaa’at then the day is not far when jamaa’at will become an example of prosperity and a symbol of high morals.  The strength and progress of the jamaa’at is based on the educated youth powered by the guidance of Da’iullaah.  We are here for your hidaayat and fruitful life and with your support we can make many things favorable and helpful that is needed in the path of peace and purity.
  
  
• ‘Ibaadat stands on your intellect.  Many people visits masjid regularly and spends days together in ‘ibaadat, but they seldom know that the sawaab of their ‘ibaadat gets lost due to their bad deeds they do before or after the ‘ibaadat.  The way they think reflects their inner-self and this is where niyyat comes into existence.  Every deed has its roots in intention.  Weak and unhealthy intention results into the aborted deed.  Intellectual person is the one who does what Allaah orders and he stops what Allaah denies.  His intellect is sharp and mature and his manner of ‘ibaadat is far more sincere than the one who prays without proper intellect and cognizance of Shari’at.
  
  
• Minnat or Nazar should be taken only for lawful actions and aamaal-e-saalehaat with the intention to complete that minnat or nazar when the said task is accomplished.  It should only be taken with the waseelah of wali-e-kaamil or da’i-e-faazil who is under the patronage and holy ta’eed of Imaam-e-Aal-e-Mohammad (saws).  If one is unable to perform the minnat then he should immediately do sadaqah or do the nearest possible thing in place of the said minnat or nazar.
  
  
• Qabr of any Da’i-e-haqq is the fountain-head of the anwaar of spiritual darajaat.  Only a believer of the Da’i can feel the faiz of this ruhaani aalam and his heart gets illuminated with the noor of imaan.  The noor comes from Allaah and progresses from one Da’i to another through the propagation of Nass.   A beautiful example is there in front of us when we visit the dam site built on the river.  We could only see the water stored there but the electric power being generated which lights up our houses is something unseen and unimaginable.  The same thing applies here when a mumin do ziyaarat of his Maulaa where he sees the qabr-e-mubaarak but the noor which descends on that place and lights up his qalb-o-zameer is unseen but could only be grasped by the ma’refat and yaqeen on Muqaddas Maulaa.
  
  
• Da’i uz-Zamaan (tus) who is present in front of our eyes is not in his single self or has personal existence.  He is the majmaa’ and an amassing personality in whom the anwaar and ejaaz of all the previous Du’aat and Awliyaa gets converged.  Hence, in the walaayat and imaan of Maulaana Ali (as) comes the imaan of all Ambiyaa from Maulaana Aadam (as) till Mohammad Rasoolullaah (saws).  In the same way the khidmat and mohabbat of Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) includes the mohabbat of all preceding Du’aat.  If any person denies the walaayat of a single Da’i he has indeed denied all the Du’aat entirely.  From Maulaana Aadam (as) till now, this is the spiritual chain of Hujjatullaah who are appointed divinely whose one end is with Allaah and the other end is with His Da’i who takes oath of Imaan from His believers.
  
  
• When we convey salaam and Du’a-e-taqdees on the qabr-e-anwar of Muqaddas Maulaa, then not only he but all the Awliyaa descends near us and what we utter there in form of Du’a is carried away in the bargaah-e-ilaahi making it special and pure with the waseelah of these Awliyaa.  Nothing is possible without the waseelah of Saheb-e-Haqq.  It is this waseelah that gives us najaat and ascends us to the nooraani world of angles.  Every small or big thing needs some way for its existence so does our life in this world and hereafter.
