The day of 20th Zilqa’adah 1429 AH, 17/11/2008, Monday, became yaum-e-mubaarak for the mumineen who are heading for the Hajj Baytullaah this year with niyyat-e-khaalesah and azm-e-pukhtah. Their day became yaadgaar, auspicious and very special as their Ruhaani waalid Saiyedna Abu Haatim Taiyeb Ziyauddin saheb (tus) invited them for didaar, mulaaqaat, bay’at-e-Imaam uz-zamaan (as), du’a and it’aam ut-ta’aam. All of them gathered with imaani-nooraani libaas at the bayt-e-sharaf Daarus Salaam and offered namaaz of Maghrib and Isaa’il Aakherat. With extending mubaarak-baadi to mumineen Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) did naseehat that, “Hajj is only meant for du’a, taubah, seeking maghferat, rehmat and barakat. O mumineen, spend your time in reciting qur’an, doing tawaaf, performing manaasik as per our aqaa’id and making du’a your weapon against all evil thoughts and aamaal during the ba-fazeelat ayyaam of Hajj. Don’t bother about your business and children here, you are spending your daulat fi sabeelillaah and Allaah will sure reward you as per your niyyat and imaan. He will guard you and your children. Don’t do bad-du’a for anyone or indulge in gheebat, allegations, falsehood or anything that would harm any mumin. You are going to visit the muqaddas maqaamaat of Makkah Mo’azzamah and Madinah Munawwarah where our A’immat and Du’aat lived and came to offer du’a for the shafaa’at of their mumineen, so Allaah has granted you a golden opportunity to take the barakaat of these places and offer as many du’a as possible. I am guiding you for your well-being so being the member of Alavi jamaa’at it is laazim for you to remember the mumineen in your du’a and pray that Allaah make them visit the paakizah zameen of Baytullaah.”
Zaakiraan-e-Da’wat recited the kalaam reflecting the safar-e-khaas and Hajj and its mafhoom. Fidahusain Hazaariwala did istiqbaal of all aazemeen-e-hajj with garlands and sweets and made iltijaa for du’a-e-khayr. The press fraternity did full coverage of the programme. The function culminated with maa’edah-e-Ahlul Bayt (as) i.e. the it’aam ut-ta’aam which makes us feel the tahzeeb and takreem of Rasoolullaah (saws). As it is one of the sunnat in which mumineen sit in sifrah-thaal and with shukr-o-hamd eat the ne’maat of Allaah Ta’aala. With this there is a manifold increase in mohabbat and ikhlaas among the mumineen of Ahlul Bayt (as). |

Huzoor-e-‘Aali Saiyedna saheb (tus) extended the da'wat and izn-e-khaas for Wadaa' (farewell), ziyaafat and mulaaqaat to all those respected mumineen who are about to leave for Hajj Baytullaah this year. The blissful function was held in the nooraani presence of Saiyedna saheb (tus) at Qasr-e-‘Aali Daar us-Salaam on 25th Zul Qa'adah in the evening. The crowning speech of Huzoor-e-‘Aali adorned the quloob of mumineen with the soothing words of du'a that, “Allaah has chosen you all for the deedaar of His bayt . You are the special mehmaan of Allaah and He has given you an opportunity for taubah and istighfaar and make yourselves pure and chaste. You will be visiting the most sacred place on this earth where Allaah accepted the taubah of our ambiyaa-mursaleen and they did manaasik as per the ahkaam of Allaah. In your du'a, please remember your du'aat, mumineen and jamaa'at. Pray for those who are not fortunate enough to go for Hajj.” |

Mumineen who intended to go for Hajj this year were dignified and honored when they were invited by Huzoor-e-‘Aali (TUS) to Daar-us-Salaam for get-together, meesaaq, farewell prayers and dinner on 15th Zilqaad 1427. In the auspicious presence of Huzoor-e-‘Aali (TUS) all the mumineen; going to accomplish one of the fundamental obligation of Shari'at; exchanged greetings and compliments. The meeting was also spiced with discussion of rites and rituals of Hajj and all mumineen expected a collective co-operation and help from each other.
Huzoor-e-‘Aali (TUS) addressed the Hujjaaj and said, the true religion of Ahl ul-Bayt (AS) is the religion of Razaa (permission, consent). Allah never accomplishes and accepts any deed or action of Shari'at without the permission of His Hujjat (representative) on this earth. Daa'ee uz-Zamaan (Daa'ee of the period) who is in possession of the progeny of Rasoolullaah (SAWS); who is the authoritarian of Imaam uz-Zamaan (AS); whose consent and permission is related with that of Imaam uz-Zamaan (AS); is the real and truthful deputy and representative of Allah on this earth. Emphasizing on the importance of permission and consent, he quoted the hostile and inhuman circumstances through which the members of our Ahl ul-Bayt (AS) underwent in Karbala and the loyal and trustworthy followers of Imaam Husain (AS).
Huzoor-e-‘Aali (TUS) also added that mumineen going for the Hajj leaving behind their family members and motherland; should indulge themselves in ‘ibaadat (prayer), taubah (repentance), du'aa (supplication), istighfaar (seeking forgiveness from Allah), tawaaf (circumambulation of Ka'bah), nisfillayl (midnight prayer) and tilaawat (recitation) of Qur'an. Mumineen should consider these days of Hajj as the last part of their life and complete all the rites and rituals with submission, devotion and piousness, without thinking and worrying about their kith and kin as Allah is their protector and guardian till the end of Hajj. Pointing towards the faces, Huzoor-e-‘Aali (TUS) said that, you have adopted this religious and enlightened look and character and that you should endure the same after Hajj only then you will deserve the title of “Hujjaaj.” Mumineen should remain punctual in namaaz and exhibit virtuous character and conduct. They should embrace the habit of wearing nooraani libaas and embellish themselves with the practice of keeping beard. Muminaat should keep habit of wearing ridaa and take care about their pardaa . Lastly Huzoor-e-‘Aali (TUS) supplicated for the mumineen with the waseelah mubaarak of Rasoolullaah (SAWS) and Ahl ul-Bayt (AS) for their accomplishment of every action, wishes in Hajj. |

Bayaan during the farewell of Hujjaaj - 1426 AH |

|
| |
A propitious event of farewell and misaaq for the departure of 22 Hujjaaj-e-Keraam of our community was held after the Maghrib prayer at the maqaam-e-Taiyebi residence of His Holiness Saiyedna Saheb (TUS), Daar-us-salaam. Saiyedna Saheb (TUS) prayed and bestowed his blessings on all of them for their good health and peaceful journey to the Holy Ka'bah. He also persuaded all the Hujjaaj to pray for the progress, development and the growth of Alavi Bohra community at the Holy Ka'bah, in Minaa and Muzdalefah, on the day of ‘Arafah and on other auspicious places. All the Hujjaaj then departed from Daar-us-salaam, with the spiritual and eternal delight but with heavy hearts.
Some of the precious jewels in form of words which Huzoor-e-‘Aali (TUS) uttered while addressing the Hujjaaj:
- This enlightened Da'wat is the Da'wat of Ibraaheem (AS) and it is the centre of shari'at (the canonical law of Islaam). Saheb-e-Da'wat ranks equal to the status of Ka'bah, whether he is in the rank of Nabi, Wasi, Imaam or Da'i.
- Entering in to the covenant and acceptance of Da'wat is like stepping forward into the Haram of Ka'bah.
- Allah Ta'aala has bestowed his choicest of blessings and kindness on the mumineen of jamaa'at that every year mumineen spends for the good cause and offers a supreme obligation of Hajj.
- The time is not far when not a single house remain without Haaji.
- After offering the obligation of Hajj, your character, thinking, speech, conduct, living, dress and face should conform to the laws of shari'at and faith. Your quality, nature and way of living should preserve the dignity of the title “ Haaji”.
We all pray for the Hujjaaj to the Almighty Allah, to accomplish the great and supreme obligation of Hajj-e-Baytullah and all its holy rituals with all its charm and devotion. We all pray for their peaceful and healthy journey. And may Allah Ta'aala return them to the watan mother land and may all of them meet their families in the state of spiritual and eternal purity at the earliest.
