“Diwaan-e-Haseen” is the marvellous and splendid collection of the Ash’aar of 41st Siraajum Muneer Saiyedna Abu Fidaali Fakhruddin Jeevabhai bin Saiyedna Ameeruddin (aq). It is a comprehensive and mesmerising work of poetry (nazm) in Lisaan ud-Da’wat, Arabic, Urdu and Persian languages which includes a variety of Abyaat (verses of praise), Qasaa’id (dirges), Marsiyah (elegies) and Ash’aar. The immensity of the knowledge of Saiyedna Fakhruddin Saheb (aq) is reflected from the broad and panoptic horizon of his Diwaan in which he has beautifully and meticulously ingrained all the dimensions of the Shari’at of Allaah whether it is related to the importance of acquiring ‘Ilm (knowledge) or the Fazaa’il (rank and status) of Ahl ul-Bayt (as) or the Haqaaiq (esoteric facts) of the Shari’at or the importance and significance of the martabah of Imaam uz-Zamaan (as) and Da’i uz-Zamaan (tus). There are numerous Abyaat in which he has proficiently interwoven the words of Wisdom and Naseehat (advice) in the form of verses. Abyaat written on the importance of seeking knowledge highlights the Fazeelat of Ahl ul-Bayt (as) who, after Rasoolullaah (saws) and Maulaana Ali (as), are the fountainhead of the Elaahi knowledge and will remain till the Day of Qayaamat. One of the salient features of his Diwaan is that he has used a very simple and uncomplicated language so that even a lay man can understand it and memorize it easily.

Selected Abyaat and Qasaa’id of the Diwaan are regularly recited in the Majlis and Mehfil of Da’wat on various occasions. It was the farmaan of Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) that the ‘Ilmi Barakaat of Abyaat of Saiyedna Fakhruddin Saheb (aq) should reach in the house of every mumineen. Angels of Allaah descends in the place where the Zikr (remembrance) of Fazaa’il of Ahl ul-Bayt (as) is done. Allaah Ta’aala sends His choicest of blessings on the one who seeks the knowledge (of Allaah) and talks about truth (Walaayat of Maulaana ‘Ali (as) and A’immat-e-Taahereen (as)). Certainly, if a Mumin listens to all the Abyaat which are full of all the things mentioned above, then the Malaa’ekat (angels) of Allaah will descend in his house.

Embracing the farmaan of Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) and with the Karam and Rehmat of Allaah Ta’aala, we decided to record the Abyaat and present them to the mumineen in the form of CDs and Audio Cassettes. Selected zaakereen of the Da’wat have recited the Abyaat with khush-ilhaan totally in a different way and rhythm (tarz-o-tarannum). Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) did nazr-e-khaas and bestowed the name of the collection of the recorded Abyaat as “Azhaar-e-Diwaan-e-Haseen”.
